My baby is 2…almost
Two years ago today, I woke up at 3:45am with contractions and just KNEW that my little boy was going to join us soon…52 hours later I got to hold him in my arms. He was barely 6 lbs, so tiny and small that even premmie clothes were too big. Our family was complete at that moment. Our little girl became a big sister-and Russ and I began the biggest challenge and the biggest joy of our life. He has had his share of challenges to overcome: colic, several ear infections, fluid blockage in his ears that caused some temporary hearing loss (which was fully corrected and reversed with surgery in Feb.). With all of these things, everything we thought we knew about parenting changed. Our faith has grown as we literally relied on God for strength to make it through the day. With all of these things we never forget what a miracle and blessing our little man is in our lives. We are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for him in the years to come and we celebrate his life this week!
